The Uttar Pradesh Social Welfare Department has released the notification for UP Scholarship 2025-26 under Pre-Matric, Post-Matric, and Dashmottar schemes. This scholarship is for students enrolled in Class 9th and 10th (Pre-Matric), 11th and 12th (Post-Matric), and Post-Matric courses other than Intermediate. The online application process began on 2 July 2025 and will continue until 30 October 2025 for Pre-Matric and Post-Matric students. For Post-Matric other than Intermediate, applications are accepted from 10 July 2025 to 20 December 2025 via the official portal.

UP Scholarship Eligibility 2025-26
- Pre Matric (9th & 10th):
Passed 8th & enrolled in 9th or passed 9th & enrolled in 10th. - Post Matric (11th & 12th):
Passed 10th & enrolled in 11th or passed 11th & enrolled in 12th. - Dashmottar (Post Matric Other than Intermediate):
Enrolled in UG/PG/Diploma/Certificate courses.

How to Apply for UP Scholarship 2025-26 Online?
- One Time Registration (OTR) is mandatory via scholarship.up.gov.in starting 2 July 2025.
- Complete three steps: Mobile Number Authentication, Aadhaar e-KYC, and OTR Number generation.
- Fill all required personal and academic details accurately.
- Submit the online application and upload documents.
- Biometric authentication, verification, and forwarding by the institute.
- District Scholarship Committee verifies and approves the forms.
- Approved students receive scholarship funds directly in their bank accounts via Aadhaar-based transfer.
